The medication diary allows the patient to record when they’ve taken their medication. The patient will be asked to select the medication they wish to record and select the date, time and number of times this medication was taken. Once this is added to the diary, it will show how many puffs, for example, have been taken by the patient that day. The patient can then view medication usage from previous weeks, enabling them to monitor trends in their usage.
myAsthma is our first app to incorporate Symptonet technology. Symptonet is our AI engine that assists patients in managing their condition. Based on their symptoms, type of asthma and health checks e.g. if the Symptonet detects a patient is using their reliever inhaler 3 or more times a week, it will send them a notification.
Symptonet drives the patient annual review and other health checks, send reminders on inhaler instruction, known triggers and more, actively managing the patient, to deliver better outcomes.
